URUMQI (AIA) President Asif Ali Zardari met with Communist Party Secretary of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Chen Xiaojiang, to discuss enhancing Pakistan-China cooperation in agriculture, industry, mining, and security. Both leaders emphasized the importance of counter-terrorism and reaffirmed their commitment to bilateral ties. The President highlighted Xinjiang’s pivotal role in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and encouraged greater collaboration in industry and agriculture.
