GILGIT (AIA) President Asif Ali Zardari reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making Gilgit Baltistan a model of development, justice, and equality. Addressing the Gilgit Baltistan Independence Day ceremony, he highlighted the region’s potential in tourism and natural resources, emphasizing the need for better health and education facilities. The President also paid tributes to the martyrs and Ghazis of Gilgit Baltistan and reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for the people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
