ISLAMABAD (AIA) JazzCash, Pakistan’s leading fintech platform, has joined hands with the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) as a payment service provider to enhance financial assistance disbursement across Punjab. The partnership aims to provide secure, efficient, and transparent fund transfers to over one million beneficiaries, according to a news release.
Since its inception in 2015, PSPA has launched several initiatives to support vulnerable communities in Punjab, including the Ba-Himmat Buzurg Program for older persons, the Masawaat Program for transgender individuals, the Nayee Zindagi Program for acid attack survivors, and the Humqadam Program for persons with disabilities. Additionally, the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP) addresses critical gaps in healthcare, education, and social protection for marginalised segments.
With JazzCash’s robust digital infrastructure, the partnership will enable seamless, timely, and secure financial disbursements, empowering beneficiaries with direct access to essential services.
“We are humbled to partner with PSPA, Punjab’s leading social protection authority, to advance our mission of uplifting communities, especially women. This collaboration ensures that financial aid reaches beneficiaries in an efficient, transparent, and secure manner,” said Murtaza Ali, President of JazzCash, at the signing ceremony.
Ali Shehzad, CEO of PSPA, added, “By partnering with JazzCash, we can leverage digital financial services to ensure reliable and timely fund disbursement for those who need it most. This collaboration strengthens our shared commitment to empowering communities through innovative solutions.”
As Pakistan’s most widely used fintech platform, JazzCash supports communities by facilitating payments, savings, and loans. This partnership aligns with JazzCash’s broader strategy to promote financial inclusion and economic resilience across the nation.
