Punjab Government Greenlights Sialkot Industrial Estate Development Amidst Foreign Investment Push

LAHORE (AIA) The Punjab government has given the go-ahead for the development of a new industrial estate spanning 400 acres adjacent to Sialkot Airport, as decided in a meeting presided over by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz held in Lahore today. The cabinet also resolved to extend offers for four industrial estates to foreign investors. Additionally, it was decided that the Chunian Industrial Estate will be transferred to the Fisheries Department. The meeting further deliberated on proposals to present the Balwal, Vehari, and Bahawalpur Industrial Estates to Saudi investors, underscoring Punjab’s proactive stance on attracting overseas investment.
