Punjab Launches Major Incentives for Farmers, Energy Sector

LAHORE (AIA) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Thursday reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting farmers and advancing the agriculture sector.
She was speaking at a tractor distribution ceremony under the Wheat Initiative Programme in Kala Shah Kaku.
Maryam congratulated 1,000 farmers who achieved record wheat yields and qualified to receive free tractors.
The chief minister also announced major energy relief measures, including a 95% subsidy on 10 KV solar systems and a 90% subsidy on 15 KV systems.
She directed the Agriculture Department to provide agricultural machinery on rent to farmers at zero profit.
