Punjab’s development focus spans 41 districts, says Maryam
— September 19, 2026LAHORE (AIA) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said the government’s development focus is not confined to any one city but extends across all 41 districts of the province.
She was speaking to members of the Punjab Assembly and PML-N ticket holders from Multan in Lahore today.
Maryam said development projects are being launched in Punjab for the first time according to population ratios.
She agreed to a proposal to construct a bridge over the Chenab River between Shujaabad and Khan Garh.
The chief minister also urged elected representatives to remain involved in development projects in their constituencies until their completion.
