ISLAMABAD (AIA) Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja has stated that the government is committed to harnessing technology to improve citizens’ lives, announcing a comprehensive strategy to bring comfort and ease through digital innovation.
Addressing a ceremony marking the completion of Pakistan’s ten-year digital roadmap, Khawaja highlighted initiatives like E-governance, Artificial Intelligence, and data security, emphasizing the revolutionary impact of the ‘Digital Nation Pakistan’ project. She outlined plans to promote a cashless economy, streamline the country’s economy, and enhance efficiency and transparency through digital means.
The Minister reaffirmed the government’s dedication to providing opportunities for youth in the IT sector, aligning with modern era requirements.
