Sindh Govt Approves Rs6.6bn Railway Project to Boost Coal Transport

KARACHI (AIA)The Sindh cabinet has given the green light to a Rs6.61 billion project to lay a railway line from Thar coal to Port Qasim, aiming to enhance coal transportation infrastructure. The project is a collaboration between the provincial government and Pakistan Railways, with a Memorandum of Understanding already signed.
The cabinet also reviewed a solar home project, approving the provision of 250,000 free solar kits to poor households across the province.
