Sindh Govt Partners with UNICEF, Khan Academy to Launch AI-Powered Teacher Training

KARACHI (AIA) The Sindh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UNICEF and Khan Academy Pakistan to introduce AI-based online training for teachers, aiming to equip them with modern teaching methodologies.
Sindh Minister for Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah emphasized the provincial government’s commitment to innovation and quality in education. The six-month pilot project will train approximately 3,500 teachers from Dadu, Tando Allahyar, Tharparkar, and Umerkot districts.
This initiative seeks to enhance teacher capacity and improve education outcomes in the province, leveraging technology to drive positive change in the education sector.
