Sindh Govt Presents Budget with Ambitious Development Agenda: CM

KARACHI (AIA) Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah says provincial government has presented a balanced budget for next financial year with an ambitious development agenda.
Speaking at post budget news conference in Karachi on Saturday, he said the Sindh government has allocated 590 billion rupees for development projects and 2.15 trillion rupees will be spent to meet expenditure.
He said 1.1 trillion rupees have been earmarked for salaries and pensions, leading to salary increases of 12 per cent for BPS one to 16 and 10 per cent for grade 17 to 22.
He said 236 billion rupees have been allocated for infrastructure projects in Karachi, including public-private partnership initiatives.
