Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz reaffirms commitment to well-being of masses

LAHORE (AIA) Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif has reaffirmed her commitment to the safety and well-being of the people of the province. In a statement released on Sunday, the Chief Minister outlined key measures aimed at improving governance and public service delivery in the province.
She said that the Highway Patrol is being revitalized to ensure safe travel on Punjab’s roads and that the legal rights of prisoners will be fully safeguarded. Meanwhile, under the directives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a Directorate of Monitoring Cell has been established within the Home Department.
A dedicated helpline 1124 has been launched to address complaints related to the Prisons Department, Civil Defence, Highway Patrol, and private security companies. People can call 1124 for guidance or to report complaints related to these departments.
