Electrification of Far-Flung Areas Top Priority: Balochistan CM Bugti

QUETTA (AIA) Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has emphasized that providing electricity to remote areas of the province is a top priority for his government. This was stated during a meeting with WAPDA Chairman Muhammad Saeed, where discussions focused on electrification projects, including supplying electricity from the national grid to Gwadar and other border areas.
The chief minister also highlighted the importance of solarizing agricultural tube-well projects. Bugti’s commitment to electrification aims to improve living standards and support economic development in Balochistan’s underserved regions.
The meeting underscored the government’s efforts to address the energy needs of the province and promote sustainable development.
