ISLAMABAD (AIA) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday emphasised the promotion of alternative energy, particularly solar power, and directed authorities to formulate a strategy for Thar coal gasification.
Heading a meeting related to the Petroleum Division, the PM highlighted the significance of Thar coal in coping with Pakistan’s energy needs. He directed measures to facilitate the transport of Thar coal to other parts of the country through the rail network.
