HESSA and HEC Collaborate to Boost Online Education Standards

ISLAMABAD (AIA) The Higher Education System Strengthening Activity (HESSA), in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC), hosted two training workshops on Sunday at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad.
The workshops, focused on improving online education standards, featured presentations and interactive sessions by renowned experts Dr. Deborah Keyek-Franssen, Dr. Chanté Wilson, and Dr. Abaidullah Anwar.
Participants explored strategies for enhancing online education readiness and internationalisation. Key topics included a detailed playbook for best practices, a readiness index to assess progress, and a roadmap for future developments in the sector.
In recognition of their contributions, HEC Advisor Awais Ahmed presented souvenirs to the distinguished trainers. The sessions marked a significant milestone in advancing Pakistan’s online education framework.
