Punjab’s Karobar Card to Offer Loans for Small Businesses

LAHORE (AIA) The Punjab Government has announced the launch of the Karobar Card Scheme to support and promote small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the province.
The decision was finalised during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore today.
Under the scheme, small business owners will be eligible for loans ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs1 million. Additionally, medium-level businesses can access loans of up to Rs30 million, repayable over a five-year period.
The initiative aims to empower local entrepreneurs, bolster economic growth, and provide a sustainable boost to the SME sector.
