Combating Pollution: Punjab to Equip Construction Sites with Sprinklers

LAHORE (AIA) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has instructed the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to implement a modern system to combat air pollution in Lahore.
As part of the initiative, approximately 1,500 construction sites will be equipped with indigenously developed water sprinkling systems. The chief minister has also set a deadline for the installation of the system at Gaddafi Stadium, to be completed by January, 15.
Additionally, the Communication and Works Department and the Lahore Development Authority have been directed to speed up the installation process to ensure swift implementation.
