IIEE to Become Degree-Awarding Institute Under Siddiqui’s Directive

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has directed the Institute of Industrial Electronics Engineering (IIEE) to be upgraded into a degree-awarding institute, according to a press release.
The minister has approved the draft act for the institute’s upgradation, marking a significant step towards expanding educational opportunities for Pakistan’s youth.
This upgradation will offer students another credible pathway to earn degrees in industrial electronics, aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision of empowering youth through education.
The move is part of the ministry’s broader effort to create more academic and career opportunities for young people, fostering innovation and strengthening Pakistan’s technological landscape.
