Maryam Vows to Make Punjab Polio-Free, Urges Parental Support

LAHORE (AIA) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that a vigorous vaccination campaign is underway across the province against polio, measles, tuberculosis, hepatitis, tetanus, pneumonia and other deadly diseases.
In her message on the occasion of World Immunisation Week, the Chief Minister stressed that the most effective tools against diseases are awareness, caution, and timely vaccination.
Appealing to the public, she urged every parent in Punjab to ensure their children receive all necessary vaccines.
Maryam also lauded the health workers and vaccination teams of the Health Department for their tireless efforts to reach every household.
She reaffirmed her government’s commitment to making Punjab a polio-free province.
