Balochistan Rolls Out Electric Bike Scheme, Health Insurance for Employees

QUETTA (AIA)The Balochistan Cabinet has approved the launch of an Electric Bike Scheme offering a 30% subsidy for students, working women, and government employees. The initiative, to be executed via bank financing, aims to boost affordable mobility across the province.
Chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the cabinet meeting in Quetta also approved a comprehensive health insurance scheme for government employees to ensure transparent and efficient healthcare services.
Additionally, the cabinet sanctioned the expansion of the Enterprises Development Program to Gwadar, Ketch, and Awaran, creating new opportunities for youth entrepreneurship and economic inclusion.
