CM Maryam directs authorities to complete all water filtration plant projects
— August 10, 2026LAHORE (AIA) Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that access to safe drinking water is right of every citizen of the province. Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, she directed the authorities to increase the number of water supply trucks to ensure the provision of clean drinking water to the public.
She directed the authorities to complete all 1,886 water filtration plant projects across the province at the earliest. The Chief Minister directed that bottled drinking water must be supplied to all areas where safe drinking water is unavailable.
