IG Rizvi Reviews Law and Order Arrangements in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IG) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi emphasised the importance of maintaining law and order during a visit to D-Chowk and various duty points in the capital on Monday. Rizvi met with Islamabad Police officials and personnel from other law enforcement agencies to boost morale and review security arrangements.
The IG urged officials to remain highly alert and vigilant to address any potential threats to public safety. “We will take all necessary measures to safeguard the lives and property of citizens, as well as private and commercial establishments, and will not tolerate any adventurism from disruptive elements,” Rizvi stated while addressing the officers.
He directed all officials to remain proactive in their respective areas, conduct thorough briefings with personnel, and personally oversee duties to ensure readiness in handling any law-and-order situation.
