One Million Youth to Receive Free IT Training Under Bano Qabil Project: Hafiz Naeem

ISLAMABAD (AIA) Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, announced on Tuesday that one million young individuals will receive free IT training over the next few years as part of the Alkhidmat Foundation’s Bano Qabil Project. Speaking at the Youth Empowerment Session organised by Alkhidmat Foundation at the Pak-China Centre on International Volunteer Day, Hafiz Naeem also revealed plans to expand Bano Qabil Centres to Rawalpindi, following successful launches in Karachi and Lahore.
The session celebrated the foundation’s contributions across eight sectors, including disaster relief, healthcare, education, orphan care, housing, scholarships, and youth empowerment. Highlighting Alkhidmat’s achievements, Hafiz Naeem commended the organisation for offering free education, training, and housing to orphaned and underprivileged children, particularly through its Aghosh educational institutions.
Hafiz Naeem urged the government to prioritise youth development by ensuring uninterrupted internet access and establishing ethical guidelines for technology use. Stressing the importance of free and quality education for all citizens, he highlighted that 25 million children remain deprived of education in Pakistan.
He called for the implementation of a uniform curriculum and education system, alongside the adoption of Urdu as the national and official language, as mandated by the Constitution. He also reaffirmed Jamaat-e-Islami’s commitment to advancing an Islamic economic system, arguing that the current interest-based capitalist framework perpetuates inequality and centralises wealth.
Vice Ameer Mian Muhammad Aslam, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab North Dr. Tariq Saleem, and Alkhidmat Foundation President Dr. Rizwan also attended the event.
