Wafaqi Mohtasib Expands Reach with New Muzaffarabad Office

MUZAFFARABAD (AIA) Wafaqi Mohtasib Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi inaugurated the Regional Office of Wafaqi Mohtasib in Muzaffarabad on Wednesday, marking a significant step towards ensuring the swift resolution of public complaints in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
Speaking at the ceremony, Qureshi urged the heads of federal agencies operating in AJK to expedite the resolution of public grievances. He highlighted the office’s ongoing efforts to connect with citizens, noting that the number of complaints has been steadily increasing as more people recognise the forum’s effectiveness.
With the establishment of regional offices in Muzaffarabad and Gilgit-Baltistan, the Wafaqi Mohtasib now operates in 24 cities nationwide, further extending its reach to address citizens’ concerns, Qureshi added.
Later, during a press conference, the Wafaqi Mohtasib praised the press and media for their vital role in raising public awareness about the forum. He invited the media to continue supporting the institution’s efforts to educate the public on how to access swift grievance redressal.
