ISLAMABAD (AIA) President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed profound grief over the tragic fire incident in Karachi, extending condolences to the families of the victims.
In separate statements, they directed the Sindh government and authorities to provide immediate assistance to affected individuals and traders, ensuring the injured receive best medical care. The President and PM also paid tribute to firefighter Furqan Ali, who lost his life while performing rescue operations.
President Zardari emphasized the need for effective fire safety and emergency response systems, directing a comprehensive review of safety arrangements in commercial and residential buildings. .
